Here’s my story

Almost 40 years in the making, I've got a treasure trove of personal and business wisdom to share (more on that below). I've rocked the professional world, starting in investment banking and finally settling into the world of marketing, but there’s a little more to my story than meets the eye.

Living with multiple chronic illnesses (Type 1 diabetes, asthma, PCOS) for most of my life, I used to push my health aside, letting ambition drive me instead. Ignorance finally caught up, and last year I faced chronic kidney failure and the need for a dual organ transplant.

Now on a transplant waiting list with 1-2 years ahead, I’ve had time to prepare and come to terms with my prognosis. Initially, I struggled with feeling deserving of a second chance, knowing someone else must die for me to live (not an easy pill to swallow).

In the movie ‘Seven Pounds,’ a character waiting for a heart transplant says she didn’t feel deserving because her life was ‘unremarkable.’ That hit me hard. Now, I'm on a mission to live a truly remarkable life and impact as many people as possible with this second chance.
